Fruit Scones Recipe

A sweet treat to enjoy with breakfast or just a snack that is easy to make.

 2 cups Flour
 2 tbsp Sugar
 ½ tsp Salt
 2 tsp Baking Powder
 250 g Margarine
 ¼ cup Milk
 1 cup Mixed Fruit

In a large bowl sieve flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Rub in margarine with the dry ingredients until its all mixed together and it looks like bread crumbs,

Add mixed fruits and milk, knead into a dough.

On a lightly floured surface roll dough out approximately 1cm thick use a cup to cut out circles.

Grease the frying heat slightly and place it on medium heat. Place the dough on the pan and let it cook till brown, turn over and cook the other side.

Enjoy while hot, serve with butter, whip cream or jam.
