
Samp with a twist! If you love your creamy samp you definitely are gonna enjoy this recipe.
Wash your samp.
Once washed place your samp in bowl and soak overnight. (Soak in 1l of cold water)
Drain your samp and place in pot.
Add boiling water to your samp. (add enough water to cover your samp)
Bring to boil. Once boiling reduce heat and allow to simmer for 2 hours or until nearly soft. Stir every 30 minutes. Add water while cooking if necessary.
In a bowl or jug mix your Cremora and cream of mushroom soup with a 100 ml of hot water and mix until it forms a paste. Once paste has formed add another 150 ml of warm water. Add to your samp.
Add your margarine and aromat to your samp as well.
Allow to simmer for a further 20 minutes.(stir occasionally – you should get a creamy texture)
Serve hot and enjoy!

Hi do you add the Cremona mixture after the 2 hours it’s cooked? Or do you add it while it cooks in those 2 hours

Yoh, my first time cooking for my gramms to suprise her for her birthday. Was so stressed didn’t know what to cook and it it’ll come out well. Then i came upon this page, found this recipe. It is the most simple and legit recipe ever . I followed it, and made the delicious creamy samp. Bear in mind that i haven’t cooked since since. Yhis was my first time.

Hello Ntobeko Khumalo. I would to know it the recipe is still going to be creamy even if I do not add Cremora.
You can try it without the cremora Mpho, but I can definitely tell you that it will not be as creamy.

Well I don’t have Cremora, so can I add milk…and am not good in cooking but definitely interested how can I get hold of your recipes….so that can be able to make good food.
